What I cannot understand about fortune cookies is the fact that they are so popular in those Chinese restaurants in America and you hardly hear their name in China. This really makes me wonder ......Do we even have different Chinese cultures here and there??

Yes, the fortune cookie was invented in Los Angeles. I still have the little piece of paper from a cookie in L.A. that says: "You will enjoy a trip to the Orient." Well, here I am!

Oh,that is interesting! I had some fortune cookies when I was in America, some of them had some simple Pinyin and Chinese Characters to teach people the Chinese language, but one of them had the message "You learn about another person in the process of teaching them something." So, here I am. Once a teacher, always a teacher!

That kind of food sounds very interesting .How I wish I could have a chance to taste it...
They are not very tasty, but you can always find something either boring or interesting inside the cookies.
